Job Description
Summary/Objective
The Thrive Coach is responsible for the safe and effective execution of individual and small- group fitness training sessions, in accordance with programming, techniques, standards and expectations established by City Fitness. With the appropriate cardiovascular, flexibility, and resistance training, this individual is responsible for helping individuals safely and efficiently reach their desired health and fitness goals.
 
General Accountabilities
• Offers guidance, support, and motivation to clients in order to achieve their fitness goals.
• Observes and ensures the proper and safe execution of movements/exercises and offers corrections accordingly
• Uses company software, policies and procedures to schedule, track and render member sessions
• Maintains a working knowledge of all products, programs, software’s and services
• Executes training and programming in the format only as authorized by
City Fitness
• Handles complaints and resolves issues promptly
• Practices excellent customer service and communication skills
• Balances a customer-oriented and results-driven approach
• Keeps immediate supervisor promptly and fully informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance and takes prompt corrective action where necessary or suggests
alternative courses of action which may be taken
• Maintains credentials and completes “continuing education units” as REQUIRED
• Assist in maintaining the neatness and cleanliness of the club and POD
• Attends department meetings and trainings as determined by management or as deemed necessary
• Maintains the ability and willingness to prospect as determined by management
• Represents the company in a professional manner at all times.
• Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.
