The YMCA of Pierce and Kitsap Counties is seeking a Preschool Gymnastics Instructor to join our team!

As the Preschool Gymnastics Instructor, you will provide direct leadership, instruction, and motivation for preschool children ages 3-5yrs, teaching gymnastics skills and progression.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare lesson plans with a natural progression appropriate to the age and ability of the gymnast.
- Instruct gymnasts in a safe and fun manner
- Outline class lesson plans to keep children moving
- Enforce all safety rules and regulations in the gymnastics gym.
- Finish each class with a fun group activity.
- Incorporate and discuss the YMCA values of Caring, Honesty, Respect and Responsibility

- You have knowledge and experience in teaching gymnastics and or/ years of personal gymnastics experience.

- You have a positive attitude and previous experience with youth and diverse populations.
- You are able and willing to complete Child Abuse Prevention training on your first day and other online or in-person training as required.
- Must be able to pass Background and Reference checks (in accordance with the WA State Fair Chance Act).
Wage: $16.28 to $16.78 per hour, depending on qualifications
Hours: Part-Time, Up to 25 hours per week
Location: Haselwood Family YMCA, Silverdale, WA
