Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Personal Trainer (Wellness Professional)to join our team. As a Personal Trainer, you will be responsible for designing customized workout plans, providing one-on-one training sessions, and offering general health and wellness guidance. The ideal candidate will have a passion for fitness, excellent communication skills and time management, and the ability to motivate and inspire clients to reach their full potential. **Full-time ranges 30-40 hours per week and may include a ramp up period. Part-time applicants who can commit to at least 20 hours per week will also be considered.**
Responsibilities:
· Conduct fitness assessments to determine clients' baseline fitness levels, goals, and any specific needs or limitations.
· Design personalized workout programs tailored to clients' individual goals, preferences, and fitness levels.
· Lead one-on-one training sessions, ensuring proper form, technique, and safety at all times.
· Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, fostering a positive and supportive training experience.
· Monitor clients' progress, track performance metrics, and make adjustments to their workout plans as needed.
· Stay current on industry trends, research, and best practices in fitness and nutrition.
· Maintain a clean and organized training environment, including equipment cleaning and organization.
· Attend monthly meetings and be an active participant in the training team.
· Create quarterly content for newsletters.
· Track sales and client retention using Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
Requirements:
· Certified Personal Trainer with a recognized accreditation (e.g., ACSM, NASM, ACE, NSCA, ISSA).
· Associate's or bachelor's degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or related field preferred but not required.
· CPR/AED certification required.
· Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Personal Trainer preferred.
· Experience teaching group fitness classes preferred.
· Proven track record of helping clients achieve their fitness goals and maintain long-term success.
· Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, exercise programming, and nutrition principles.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire clients.
· Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings and weekends, to accommodate client schedules.
