OUR TRAINING:
Our education training program requires each movement therapist to complete the Level 1 certification at the Stretch to Win Institute in Chandler, AZ. If you are not currently certified don’t worry, Stretchwerks offers financial assistance for qualified applicants. Once registered you will be paired up with a Stretchwerks team member prior to your level 1 certification date. Here you will begin to learn the very principles and techniques revealed in your level 1 course work. Our goal is to help you apply the information you will learn through the level 1 modules to assist in the knowledge and experience you will have at certification. When you come back we will spend an additional 15-20 hours with you enhancing your knowledge of Level 1 and teaching you other Stretchwerks principles. Each Movement therapist is thoroughly trained, tested, and audited to ensure we are delivering the highest level of service and education to our members.

OUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Greet guests in a timely and friendly fashion and ensure guests are comfortable throughout their experience
- Demonstrate exceptional customer service to exceed guest expectations
- Answer phones, texts, return messages, and maintain client email communications
- Assist clients with booking sessions and checking out via POS
- Ability to perform flexibility and mobility evaluations and determine best course of treatment
- Ability to take proper SOAP notes after every treatment and enter into database
- Educates guests on recommended retail products and continued home care
- Ensure rooms and Center is organized, clean, and restocked throughout your shift
- Maintain laundry (pillowcases and towels) as needed
- Close and open Center per set standards
- Work to reach and maintain > 21 paid service hours per week
- 55–85-minute member tailored treatment sessions
- Promotional Marketing Events (Golf outings, Triathlons, Marathons, Races, etc.)
- Responsible for continuing education with yearly company assistance
- Grow and maintain your book of business
MUST HAVES:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Appropriate State/County/City Massage Therapy License/and or L1 FST certification
- Ability to stand and sit on massage stool for prolonged periods of time
- Ability to work in confined spaces, such as a treatment room
- Demonstrated ability to perform multiple body movements to complete treatment
- Demonstrated observation skills and therapeutic communication to ensure guest safety during treatments
- Ability to travel to Chandler, AZ and spend a week becoming certified in Level 1 Fascial Stretch Therapy
- Ability to perform treatments on other therapists to improve skills and expand knowledge
- Skill checks by owners to ensure proper technique, safety, and experience
- Continuing education within Fascial Stretch Therapy as well as any required education to keep certifications and licenses current
- Community outreach and promotion of the business including site visits, events, races, outings, etc.
NICE TO HAVES:
- 1-2 years of experience in Massage Therapy or 1-2 years of experience in body work
- Skills in advanced body care techniques
- Certified Personal Trainer, Yoga Instructor, Pilates Instructor, Corrective Exercise Specialist, Acupuncturist, etc.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology, Physical Therapy, etc.
