Job Description
We are looking for positive, high energy, and creative Group Exercise Instructors to join the
COPA STC team. This role encompasses a variety of fitness and coaching-related
responsibilities. Group Exercise Instructors will be responsible for leading and assisting group
training sessions, and must be encouraging, effective, and supportive to colleagues and clients.
This role’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Essential Functions:
 Create and lead group exercise classes
 Record and report class attendance to the operations team
 Assist in sales and marketing opportunities
 Seek new sales and marketing opportunities

 
Job Requirements
Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:
Preferred:
 Certification from ACSM, NASM, ACE, AFAA, ISSA or other
 Active First Aid & CPR/AED certification for children and adults
 Over 1 year of experience creating and teaching a variety of group exercise classes
 Experience teaching Spin, Bootcamp Kickboxing, Sculpting, and/or Core Training
 Ability to provide outstanding customer service to all clients
 Ability to work with a large team
 Ability to work in a high-pressure environment
 Ability to maintain a positive attitude and professional conduct in all situations
 Efficiently handle multiple duties under pressure with minimal supervision
 Available to work evenings and weekends
 Ability to maintain relationships with members, guests, employees, and management
Required:
