Job Description

We are a NASM-Preferred Partner Facility looking for a passionate, versatile group fitness instructor who is ready to embrace the opportunity to join our vibrant, growing fitness studio on a part-time basis with the opportunity to grow.


  • Lead a variety of group fitness classes focused on movement quality, small classes and personal attention.
  • Position involves a 1-2 week on-boarding period during which the candidate will assist our instructors while learning our space, equipment, class structure and clientele.


The ideal candidate must have:

  • A widely accepted fitness instructor certification
  • Proof of liability insurance
  • GREAT people skills and personality
  • Ability to seamlessly modify, progress and regress movements in a class setting with clients of varying skill and fitness levels.


  • We believe in a functional, sustainable approach to fitness
  • We believe in movement quality, small classes (no more than 10) and personal attention
  • Other than Concept 2 Rowers, we do not use machines
  • We incorporate a full array of bodyweight exercises, plus dumbbells, kettlebells, TRX, medicine balls, stability balls, resistance bands, plyometrics and calisthenics
  • We also offer traditional strength & conditioning training, including barbell work (where appropriate for our clients)

Job Requirements
We're looking for an instructor who is comfortable teaching our current class types, including 40-Minute Core/Conditioning, 60-Minute Circuit Training and 60-Minute Strength & Conditioning. The ideal candidate would not only fit our culture and philosophy, but also would able to introduce a unique fitness class or program that gains popularity. This could create a path to an expanded role. Our clients love learning new approaches to fitness.


* Experience coaching barbell strength training
* Experience coaching youth athletes (middle school and high school)
* Experience and a widely accepted certification as a personal trainer. This would allow the instructor to expand his or her role by taking on private clients.
