Upon accepting a position at my facility, you would be a part time personal trainer and employee of the gym. You would have a set schedule, but will also need to be flexible in the hours you are able to work as you may need to cover for another employee if they are sick or on vacation periodically. You will be expected to safely and effective train clients, teach group classes, perform new client fitness assessments, help members if needed, help keep the gym clean, answer phone calls if you are working the desk, sign up members, and have a friendly, professional, and positive attitude. I will provide you with your own business cards, company uniform, as well as social media marketing/promotion. You will also have your own page on our company website. You would strictly be an employee of the gym, meaning you would not be marketed as having your own personal training business, rather marketed as a head trainer of my facility. You will have your own company email as well in which you can correspond with potential clients. You will also have the opportunity to attend different marketing events for the gym (in which you would be getting paid for) where you can get out in the community and meet potential new clients. You would of course have a free gym membership for yourself, have your own desk space to work on client programs, answer emails etc, and be able to use the kitchen area to store food, heat up meals, etc.
